  1. Today, I attended the Pairs seminar in the morning. Most of the proposals from the Pairs committee, which had to do with adjusting testing requirements for pairs, were not approved. New proposals were made that instead align the pairs tests with the competition requirements and allows skaters to take a pair test at the level of their moves (rather than moves & pair test pre-requisites) were discussed as well as some future.

I later attended the seminar on the Event Management System, which was used last year for skaters in qualifying competitions to sign up for practice ice, upload music, and enter their planned program content for regionals. We were given updates about how the system has been improved from last year based on comments and feedback from the host clubs.

Finally, I sat in on the seminar for Recruiting Judges/Officials. They presented info on how to become a judge and suggested offering opportunities for interested people to "mock" judge at test sessions or to use potential judges at club or basic skills competitions.
